Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit
Broadway Crossings provides a supportive and structured environment for individuals experiencing an acute emotional/mental health crisis which cannot be safely and appropriately managed on an outpatient basis and does not require psychiatric hospitalization. In addition, Broadway Crossings can provide a short-term supportive environment for adults being discharged from an acute psychiatric setting who require community reintegration.
The program is committed to providing quality services that foster dignity and active participation of the consumer. It offers a safe and supportive environment in which to identify, access, and organize personal and community resources aimed at successful community living.

Broadway Crossings Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit can be accessed by calling The Maine Crisis Line (MCL) at 1-888-568-1112 or TEXT/CHAT.
The Maine Crisis Line Crisis Specialists are trained professionals who will provide immediate support over the phone or by TEXT/CHAT. MCL services are available 24 hours a day/365 days a year. They may refer clients to local mobile outreach services as needed. Mobile outreach provides rapid access, in-person crisis evaluation in a setting of your choice. They will help you create an individualized crisis plan to address your needs which may include admission to your local crisis stabilization unit, such as Broadway Crossings.
